Mini Garlic Sausage Bun
Ingredients:
12 chicken frankfurters
Garlic Spread
50g butter
2 cloves garlic (peeled and grounded)
Dried basil leaves
Method:
- To make garlic spread: mix the butter, garlic and basil leaves together. Leave aside.
- Steam/boil the chicken frankfurters until cooked. Cut each frankfurter into three. Leave aside to cool.
- Follow the basic bun recipe until steps 3.
- Divide the dough into 8 parts.
- Roll each part into 1cm thick cylindrical shape.
- Roll it around the sausage
- Leave to rise then glaze the buns.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 150⁰C for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Brush the buns with garlic spread twice.
